The Fruits of Your Labor Day

Who is looking forward to Labor Day this year?  Kids are out of school, and many folks have a day off.  Three day weekends create a conundrum, albeit one that is worthwhile.  It's time to squash as much 'quality time' as possible with a mini-vacation or staycation.  It can also be an opportunity to tackle a project or two around the house, help a friend move, or drive to see family.  One way or another, your routine will be altered.  And that can just hurt.

Chiropractic can certainly get your body better prepared for being stressed.  And it is notorious for helping people who have overdone a good thing or two.  Active Health Center will be closed that September 1st Monday itself, but will be here all week prior to it, as well as the rest of Labor Day week.  Our massage therapist books out a little early sometimes, so you'll want to make a point of preparing time to see her, as well.  Appointments are strongly recommended for optimum availability, so call us at 512-310-2747 for your preferred spot.

So, go ahead.  Enjoy knowing your Labor Day break after being a dedicated worker.  Appreciate all life has to offer while you have the opportunity.  Remember you also have this reminder to take care of your body before and after special events.  And for those who have to work on Labor Day?  Pick a day to give yourself the badly-needed attention you deserve!
