Keeping Up

A patient who just left our office was discussing her Christmas plans with us.  Although Christmas is over three months away, planning is necessary if things are going to fall into place smoothly. She has the hotel reservations, people to help with childcare, and wardrobe bought & just about fully loaded.  Everything has been laid out to ensure the best possible outcome. 

Another patient has routine trips out of the country for business.  He does it frequently enough that he is pretty much always half-packed for whatever lies ahead.  He understands exactly what measures must be done at what point so he can maximize the business to which he is attending, as well as make himself as comfortable as can be.

Other people wait until the last minute to organize events in their lives, and are frequently frustrated and unhappy when results are unfavorable.  They may blame circumstances, other people, or even themselves, but continue to follow the same path.

Our goal is to support a healthy lifestyle by helping your body keep up.  It is well-known the body needs attention to its needs to function well.  If left unchecked, it can suffer afflictions that could have been simply prevented.  Generally, people can work in an adjustment every few weeks or so to keep the nervous system aligned and signals functioning well. As people are unique, some people need to come more often, and some less.  One way or another, as Grandmother used to say, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure".
